Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Battery Health Checker (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use batteryhealthchecker.com and related pages. The battery test is built so that battery readings and health-report analysis stay on your device whenever possible. This page also covers advertising (including Google AdSense), which may be used to support the free site.

Who we are

Battery Health Checker provides a free browser-based battery status view and battery health analysis from operating-system battery reports. We do not require an account to use the tool.

Battery data and what we do not collect from the tool

Live battery information (for example charge percentage and charging state) is read in your browser using supported web APIs where available. Battery health analysis from a Windows, macOS, or Linux report is processed in your browser after you run a command, paste text, or otherwise provide the report content on the page.

We do not upload, store on our servers, or sell the contents of your battery report, live battery readings, or device identifiers collected by the tool itself. When you leave or refresh the page, that in-browser tool data is discarded with the page session unless your browser keeps it only as part of normal page memory.

Information we may process as a website operator

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically receive standard technical request data when you load a page (such as IP address, browser type, date/time, and the page requested). We use that only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site — not to build a profile from your battery results.

If you email us, we receive whatever you include in the message (for example your email address and the content of your question) so we can respond.

Local storage on your device

Your light/dark theme preference may be saved in your browser’s localStorage so the site can remember the choice. That value stays on your device and is not sent to us as an account record.

Cookies and similar technologies

Battery Health Checker may use cookies and similar technologies for essential site operation and, when enabled, for advertising and analytics. Third parties such as Google may set their own cookies when their scripts or ads load. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect ads or measurement features.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

To keep Battery Health Checker free, this site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and its partners. Google and participating vendors may use cookies (including advertising cookies) and similar technologies to serve ads, measure performance, and — where allowed — show ads based on your prior visits to this site and/or other sites.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites on the Internet.

You can manage personalized ads in Google Ads Settings. You can also visit aboutads.info/choices for broader industry opt-out options where available. For more about how Google uses data, see Google’s policies for partners and advertising.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics or similar tools to understand aggregate traffic (for example which pages are visited and general device/browser categories). These tools typically use cookies or similar identifiers. We use analytics in aggregate to improve the site, not to identify you from your battery report. You can limit analytics via browser cookie controls or, for Google Analytics, the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on where supported.

Fonts and other third-party services

Pages may load fonts or other assets from third parties (for example Google Fonts). Those providers may receive standard request metadata such as your IP address when the asset is fetched, under their own privacy policies.

Children’s privacy

Battery Health Checker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us by email, contact us and we will delete it when appropriate.

Third-party links

Our blog and pages may link to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate. Review their policies before sharing information with them.

International visitors

If you visit from outside the country where our hosting or service providers operate, your information may be processed in other countries that may have different data-protection rules. By using the site, you understand that technical processing may occur in those locations as needed to deliver the website and ads.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
